Shinko Plantech Group ? Code of Conduct

While observing Shinko Plantech's Management Principles, this Code of Conduct sets forth basic ethical standards to which corporate officers and employees of the Company and its group companies must adhere when conducting business on behalf of the company.
In addition to existing as an economic entity that pursues profit through fair competition, the Shinko Plantech Group must also exist as a useful entity that serves society at large.
To that end, our corporate officers shall ensure that the Code of Conduct set out below is thoroughly adopted by Shinko Plantech Co., Ltd. and its group companies. And, in addition to ensuring that all concerned understand and recognize that compliance with the rules is the responsibility of each and every individual, our corporate officers shall set an example of contributing to society with sincerity, ingenuity and passion.
In the event that any corporate officer or employee violates this Code of Conduct, our senior management shall take the initiative in resolving the issue, determining the underlying factors and taking measures to prevent a recurrence.

  1. We will comply with all laws and regulations, internal and societal rules, and maintain fair and sound business practices.
  2. We will provide services that are both useful and of sufficient quality to satisfy our customers, and we will strive to be deserving of their trust.
  3. We will always emphasize the importance of mutual trust with our business partners, and interact with them in a fair and just manner.
  4. We will communicate openly with shareholders and other stakeholders as well as society at large, and disclose corporate information in a proactive and fair manner.
  5. We will take an uncompromising stand against individuals and groups who violate societal rules and norms, and will not respond to any unwarranted or unreasonable demands.
  6. We will respect the character and individuality of each employee, and maintain a safe and ideal workplace.
  7. We will strive to conserve resources and energy, and proactively engage in environmental conservation efforts.
  8. We will enforce strict management of individual and customer information. We will not provide such information to third parties, nor will we use it for any purpose other than the business matters for which it was intended.
