Partial Pressure Test Method

Easily isolates piping and nozzles,greatly improving industrial cleaning performance.

The Partial Pressure Method, which includes welding operations as well as pressure and air-tight tests, easily isolates piping and nozzles during repairs and modification. The method reduces the need for various ancillary works during conventional repairs and modification, shortens turnaround times, reduces costs, and provides a safer work environment.

Partial Pressure Test Method

When modifying pipes or nozzles of existing tanks or vessels during mandatory maintenance and repair work, authorities require that a pressure test be performed on the area of repair or maintenance. The pressure test, however, requires various ancillary works such as confirmation of welding areas, the review of basic strength tolerance, installation of various panel sheeting and access openings, increasing both the turnaround time and cost.

Using the Partial Pressure Method, pressure and airtight tests can be performed on isolated sections of the welding line. As a result, ancillary works can be eliminated, which reduces costs and shortens turnaround times.

Isolation Method

If using the Partial Pressure Test Method when welding atmospheric pipes for flammable gas, the internal pressure of the jig and the back-pressure of the pipe can be controlled for edge cutting. This allows a prompt response in case of emergency, enhancing safety.
