SPC-HC Inner Float Structural Features

The SPC-HC Inner Float is made from an aluminum panel installed inside a fixed roof storage tank that reduces stored liquid loss due to evaporation and enhances storage efficiency. In addition, the panel affixes to the surface of the liquid eliminating vapor spaces, ensuring a higher degree of safety.

  1. The panel is prefabricated at the Isogo Factory, with on-site assembly involving bolt tightening only.
    For onsite installation of the aluminum panel inside the tank, a 600 mm x 1,700 mm opening in the side wall or tank roof is required.
  2. The entire surface of the inner float is a buoyant aggregate panel structure offering superior buoyancy performance. The buoyancy force was designed to exceed normal requirements by 200%. (Ensuring a safety factor double that of API consensus standards.)
  3. The panel adheres to the surface, eliminating vapor spaces and enhancing safety.
  4. Can be installed at lower cost compared to the Steel Inner Float Method.
  5. Increases liquid storage capacity compared to the Steel Inner Float Method.
  6. All materials are made from aluminum alloy or stainless steel, avoiding the concern of corrosion or product contamination.
  7. Can be installed in small-size storage tanks as well. (Actual Installation in the United States:Φ1,524 mm ? Φ42,700 mm)
